CoLT BUSINESS

e-business involves all electronically managed, performed or supported internal activities, e-commerce involves all electronically managed, performed or supported external commercial relationships.

CoLT works with businesses in a number of ways:

•	Creation of tailored solutions for individual businesses
•	Design and delivery of training
•	Design and delivery of web sites and information systems
•	Consultancy on the planning and take up of Internet Technology for e-business and e-commerce
•	Research into the impact on business processes and behaviours of Internet technologies
•	Research into online client behaviour
•	CoLT has worked with over 1000 businesses over the last six years

From 2001 much of this more commercial work is now carried out by ICO3 Limited, a University of Plymouth spin-out company formed by members of the CoLT team and including a university share holding.
